About Peter

Peter is an writer, performer, director and video editor that works primarily in comedy and news/entertainment media. He is currently a video editor for Channel 5 News with Andrew Callaghan, where he edits longform youtube and patreon videos, as well as shortform social media clips, and occasionally works as a spot videographer/line producer.

 

He grew up in San Francisco, studying acting at the American Conservatory Theatre, where he was named a distinguished young artist. He then studied musical theatre at the University of Michigan, where he developed his skills as a performer, writer and director. At Michigan he created multiple new works that he directed, and began filming and editing short videos for Youtube & Facebook.

After college, Peter put more focus into creating online- writing and performing comedy sketches that gained mass appeal, generating 10s of millions of views and likes, and over 250,000 followers. He also filmed and documented live protests in the US like the 2020 Black Lives Matter Protests in New York and the January 6th "Stop the Steal" riot in Washington DC. His work has been shown on networks like Al Jazeera, CBS, and even on the floor of the US congress.

Peter also has considerable experience as a professional performer, appearing regionally with the Detroit Public Theatre and the American Conservatory Theatre, as well as onstage around the world at venues like Theatre Calgary, Europa Park, The Wallis Annenberg Center of Performing Arts and The Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. He can also be seen on television in the shows "Chicago PD" on NBC, "FBI" on CBS, and "Ariel, Zoey & Eli, Too" on Cozy TV.
